Like a good Midwestern boy, I followed in my father’s footsteps and began working as a machinist in a tool and die shop. That was 1988. I knew that life wasn’t for me, but I grew up thinking that that was what I was supposed to do. One day, my boss stopped my my machine and suggested I go to the open mic night at a nearby comedy club. Maybe he was encouraging me, maybe he was thinking of firing me. Either way, that night changed my life. I got hooked and a year later left Milwaukee behind to travel as a stand-up comedian.
Those first few year were spent entirely on the road, going from one club to the next. Since then I’ve done several different shows for Comedy Central,The King Of Queens, Chelsea Lately, and Sports Soup. And Just shot a pilot for a web series called “Dusty Peacock”. I’m also a Voce Over actor. I have voiced almost 100 commercials for companies like Net-Flix, Michelob, Toyota and many more.
I’ve also traveled to 50 different countries, including Afghanistan and Iraq entertaining our military troops with the USO and “Comics On Duty” In addition, I’ve had the pleasure of performing for numerous associations and Fortune 500 companies including Toyota, 3M and Buick.
